Opos Palia Cherry Compote 750ml

Not every cherry makes the same compote.

That’s why we use Tragana Edessis cherries, grown in the mountain villages of Almopia. This local variety is known for its deep red colour, natural sweetness and firm, crisp flesh. The cherries hold their shape and character in the jar, while their juices slowly turn the syrup that rich, ruby red that makes this compote so distinctive.

Serve it chilled, with plenty of that deep red syrup.

And one small note before the first spoonful: we keep the cherries whole, stones and all.
